Therapies & Wellbeing

Rooted in care, rising in light — facilitating growth at every stage of life…

Welcome to Lumarise Therapies & Wellbeing! Lumarise supports physical health, mental wellbeing and nervous system regulation for both children and adults. I combine physiotherapy, hypnotherapy, movement and children’s yoga, breathing and relaxation practices, plus Reiki, rooted in 10+ years of NHS experience, tailored to each individual’s needs.

The Lumarise Approach

At Lumarise, my approach is rooted in a unique blend of clinical expertise and holistic care, centred around one key principle: supporting nervous system regulation. With over 13 years’ experience as a HCPC-registered physiotherapist across both NHS and private practice, I bring a strong clinical foundation to everything I do. This allows me to work safely, effectively and with a deep understanding of the body, movement, and recovery.

Alongside this, I integrate therapies such as hypnotherapy, children’s yoga, breathwork and Reiki to support the connection between the body and mind. Rather than treating symptoms in isolation, I look at the whole person — how they move, think, feel and respond to stress.

Many of the challenges we experience — from anxiety and burnout to chronic pain, fatigue or emotional overwhelm — are closely linked to how our nervous system is functioning. When the nervous system is dysregulated, the body can remain in a prolonged state of stress or shutdown.

Through gentle, tailored support, my work focuses on helping the body feel safe again — creating the conditions for healing, resilience and long-term wellbeing. This approach is particularly beneficial for children, individuals experiencing stress or trauma, and those with neurodiverse needs, where regulation, safety and understanding are key.

I am also continuing to develop this work through ongoing training in polyvagal-informed and trauma-aware approaches, ensuring my practice remains evidence-informed, compassionate and effective.
